Our Mission & Vision

The mission of MLBC is to help everyday people know Jesus – growing in Him and finding a place to belong.

The vision of MLBC is to become a Biblically-sound, Holy Spirit empowered family of Christ followers who cultivate a growing relationship with Jesus Christ, declare God’s greatness in all we do, and serve effectively.  We want these characteristics to produce ministry within the church and sharing Christ outside the church so that lives are changed, the church is strengthened, and our community is positively impacted.

Leadership:

Dr. Ron Danley, Pastor

Pastor Danley has a deep commitment to the truth and practical application of the Bible to life and the church.  His preaching and teaching is designed to provide both deep understanding of Scripture and clear, straightforward application of Biblical truths to everyday life in ways that relate to personal experience.  He also has a heart for developing others in their own particular areas of ministry.

What we believe:

For God so loved the world that He gave His One and only Son, that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.  For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him.  John 3:16-17 (NIV)

The Bible teaches that God created us to know and serve Him, but each of us has gone our own way instead of God’s way (sin) and this separates us from God.  God loves us so much that He came to earth as a man, Jesus Christ, and died to pay the price for our sin.  On the third day, Jesus rose from the dead and broke the power of sin. We find forgiveness and life with God by turning from sin, receiving Jesus’ forgiveness, trusting Him as Savior and Lord.  Then, we are baptized and participate in a local church to grow in our faith and tell others abut Jesus.
